Overview

The SHINING P78.1 is a welded conveyor chain on a 78.1 mm pitch, supplied with the F29 attachment welded to the link. It is the form of chain used where a cane carrier or scraper line needs a sharper, more heavily braced link than a forged chain of the same pitch can give.

Welded construction allows the link to be shaped progressively during manufacture, so the finished chain combines a strong link form with the hardened working surfaces the sugar duty demands. F29 flights and attachments are welded to your drawing and checked for straightness before shipment.

Applications

  • Cane Carriers: main conveying of cane into the milling train.

  • Scraper and Flight Conveying: where F29 flights push or drag the material.

  • Bagasse Conveying: wet, abrasive bagasse duty.

  • Feed and Washing Tables: conveying cane and trash at the front end of the mill.

  • General Bulk Handling: chain duty where a welded, hardened link is preferred.

Features

Welded Construction, Hardened Throughout

The links are of welded construction and the working parts are hardened, which gives the chain the toughness and fatigue resistance that a riveted chain of the same pitch cannot always reach.

Sharper, Stronger Link Form

A welded link can be given a sharper, more heavily braced shape than a forged or cast link, so it resists the shock loads of a cane carrier without opening up.

Riveted as Standard, Cottered to Order

Riveted construction is standard. Cottered construction can be furnished on a made-to-order basis where field assembly demands it.

Attachments Welded to Your Drawing

Flights, scrapers and pusher attachments are welded to your drawing and checked for straightness and weld quality before shipment.

Matched Sprockets

Matching sprockets and split or segmental rims are available so the drive side is covered as well as the chain.

Specifications

The P78.1 runs at a 78.1 mm pitch and is supplied with the F29 attachment welded in place. Attachment height, lead and hole positions are made to your drawing; tell us the duty and we will confirm the link, pin and attachment build.

FAQs aboutP78.1 welded chains with F29 for sugar mill

Do you supply the sprockets as well as the chain?

Yes, and we recommend it. Chain and sprocket should be engineered as one system. We supply solid, split and segmental sprockets, tooth-cut to the actual pitch of the chain.

What is the typical lead time?

Standard lead time is 60 days from receipt of the order and confirmation of the drawing; minimum order is 100 meter of chain. Crush-season timing matters - tell us your start date and for urgent breakdowns we can discuss an expedited slot.

Can you match our existing mill's chain that is not in your catalogue?

Yes - OEM and replacement manufacturing are our core business. Send the old chain, a drawing or the pitch, inside width, pin diameter and attachment pattern, and we reproduce it dimension-for-dimension, with matching sprockets.

Can you supply a spare from a sample or an old part?

Yes. Send a worn sample or a short length and we will reverse-engineer it - pitch, plate and attachment geometry - and manufacture to the agreed specification.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ is 100 meter for chain. Sprockets are quoted per piece.

What certifications and documentation do you provide?

SHINING holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification covering the R&D and production of chains and sprockets, both valid to 21 July 2029. Every production batch is dimensionally inspected and tensile-tested, and Mill Test Certificates and insp
