Overview

The SHINING 2614 is a COBRA-style main carrier conveyor chain for sugarcane. It runs at a 304.8 mm pitch with a 101.6 mm chainplate of 19.05 mm thickness and a 41.14 mm pin. The outboard roller is 152.4 mm in diameter, carried on a 57 mm bush of 120.6 mm height.

COBRA series chains with outboard rollers provide excellent impact resistance, load bearing, easy maintenance and extended service life - which is exactly what a sugarcane main carrier needs when cane is dropped onto the line from the side.

Applications

  • Sugarcane Main Carriers: the primary conveying line into the mill.

  • High-Impact Feed Points: where cane is unloaded onto the carrier.

  • Heavily Loaded Carriers: duty where outboard rollers carry the load over a rail.

  • Long Line Conveying: where low friction and easy maintenance matter most.

  • Heavy Bulk Handling: other heavy chain duty with a 304.8 mm pitch.

Features

Outboard Rollers

The rollers are carried outboard of the chain, so they roll over the track instead of dragging - the source of the COBRA chain's low friction, easy maintenance and long life.

Excellent Impact Resistance

The outboard roller and heavy sideplate take the shock of cane unloaded onto the carrier without opening the link or flattening the roller.

High Load Bearing

A 101.6 mm by 19.05 mm chainplate and a 41.14 mm pin give the chain the load capacity of a main carrier line.

Easy Maintenance

Outboard rollers can be inspected and replaced without stripping the whole line, so a worn roller does not mean replacing the chain.

Extended Service Life

Rolling contact instead of sliding contact, plus hardened working parts, is what extends the life of the chain between major shutdowns.

FAQs about2614 COBRA series main carrier conveyor chains for sugarcane

Can you replace the chain on our existing carrier without changing the drive?

Yes. Our chains and sprockets interchange with the major international sugar-chain brands. Send the OEM part number or a drawing and we will confirm the match; a short length of the original chain lets us measure and match it exactly.

What is the typical lead time?

Standard lead time is 60 days from receipt of the order and confirmation of the drawing; minimum order is 100 meter of chain. Crush-season timing matters - tell us your start date and for urgent breakdowns we can discuss an expedited slot.

Can you match our existing mill's chain that is not in your catalogue?

Yes - OEM and replacement manufacturing are our core business. Send the old chain, a drawing or the pitch, inside width, pin diameter and attachment pattern, and we reproduce it dimension-for-dimension, with matching sprockets.

Can you supply a spare from a sample or an old part?

Yes. Send a worn sample or a short length and we will reverse-engineer it - pitch, plate and attachment geometry - and manufacture to the agreed specification.

What is the minimum order quantity?

MOQ is 100 meter for chain. Sprockets are quoted per piece.

What certifications and documentation do you provide?

SHINING holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification covering the R&D and production of chains and sprockets, both valid to 21 July 2029. Every production batch is dimensionally inspected and tensile-tested, and Mill Test Certificates and insp
