P=142 mm forged chain, 142NA and 142HA builds: 350 kN and 525 kN average breaking load, 1.26 and 2.00 kg/ft.
The SHINING P=142 mm forged chain is supplied in two builds. The 142NA carries an 11.00 mm sidebar and an average breaking load of 350 kN; the 142HA carries a heavier 16.50 mm sidebar and 525 kN. Both run at a 142 mm pitch with a 25 mm pin and weigh 1.26 and 2.00 kg per foot respectively.
Both builds are heat-treated and use a T-pin that locks positively in the sidebars. Because the pin can be reversed to restore the original pitch and the whole chain can be turned over to present a fresh sliding surface, the chain can be worked twice before it is retired.
Bulk Material Conveying: continuous conveying of heavy, abrasive materials.

Transfer and Elevating Points: where a high breaking load matters more than weight.
Heavy Industry Service: duty where the chain is worked to its wear limit.
The 142NA and 142HA share a 142 mm pitch and a 25 mm pin, so the same sprockets and attachments suit both. Only the sidebar section and the resulting breaking load change - 11.00 mm and 350 kN for the NA, 16.50 mm and 525 kN for the HA.
All parts are heat-treated, and the T pin ensures positive locking action in the sidebars.
Forged chains have high strength and simple construction, and do not require any tools for assembly.
The open design between pin and centre link prevents the conveying material from packing the joints.
When the chain is worn, the pin can be reversed to recover the original pitch, and the complete chain can be turned over to provide a new sliding surface.
