SH60-3T and SH100-3T are stainless steel roller chains carrying sharp top teeth. Sharp top chains are among the most widely used chains in lumber conveying systems: the tooth profile bites into the wood surface so the chain grips lumber reliably and helps strip bark as the log or timber moves through the line.

The machined sharp teeth engage the wood surface directly, preventing slip on inclines and transfers and helping remove bark during conveyance.
Stainless steel gives corrosion resistance in damp, sap-bearing service, tolerance of high and extremely low temperatures, and no low-temperature brittleness. In certain highly corrosive conditions, stress-corrosion cracking may occur and should be reviewed with our engineers.
Tooth angle is 107 degrees on both sizes, with the radius r defining the tooth root, so sprocket and tooth engagement stay consistent along the chain.
