Stainless steel roller chains are the most commonly used environmentally resistant chains for the manufacture of foods, chemicals, medicines, or transmission in water.
SS Roller Chains have the following features:
1. Attractive appearance of glossy stainless steel.
2. Exceptional corrosion resistance. They can operate at high temperatures and maintain excellent corrosion resistance and strength. But in certain highly corrosive conditions, stress-corrosion cracking may occur.
3. These chains may be used in extremely low temperatures because low-temperature brittleness does not occur.
4. There is slight magnetism, due to the cold working processes.
