Heavy duty lifting chains

Heavy duty lifting chains are one of the most popular rigging products, due to their strength, durability, and easy to use. SHINING’s heavy duty lifting chains are heat treated to offer industry leading load capacity and durability. Also, these chains can be applied for overhead lifting. SHINING’s lifting chains address your needs of projects, small and large.

Material

In SHINING, we provide alloy steel and stainless steel lifting chains.

Alloy, heat treated alloy steel is specially recommended for overhead lifting applications. They are ideal for overhead lifting systems due to their high strength, wear resistance, and breaking load.

Stainless steel, for use where corrosion resistant like chemical, marine, and food processing. 304 and 316 are available. Stainless steel is more expensive than alloy steel but provides stronger rustproof, it is ideal for corrosive or wet situations.

Grade 80 & 100

SHINING’s featured products are G80, and G100. G80 link chains are widely used in lifting equipment, car washing systems, and marine applications. G80 chains provide excellent strength and abrasion resistance after heat treatment. G80 link chains dominated the lifting and rigging industry for years, and are the first approved for overhead lifting.

G100 link chains have higher working load than G80. Link chains have similar structures, and G100’ chain diameter is smaller than G80. So workers will prefer to choose G100, using a smaller sized chain at higher working load. To identify G80 and G100 link chains, you can find the printing chain types.

Consider the working environment where the link chains will be used, like wet conditions, or high temperature work conditions, we need to choose link chains that are resistant to such conditions. Link chains provide excellent lift and tow capabilities, applied in marine systems, mining elevator systems, lifting equipment, etc.

Regular inspections are crucial to identify any wear, cracks, or gouges. And never ever let lifting chains carry goods transport or suspend over people. When you choose lifting chains, make sure the load limit is greater than the actual load being used.
